IFPSM/NEVI Certificate Programs


Procurement is the process of finding, agreeing terms and acquiring goods, services or works from an external source, often via a tendering or competitive bidding process. Because of its direct impact on quality, innovation and corporate profitability, procurement process is often a key part of a company’s strategy. Procurement professionals often have promising career prospects.

We are the only organisation in Australia which can provide The International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM) and Dutch Procurement Association (NEVI) Certificate. Our IFPSM/NEVI Certificate Training Programs are suitable for both professionals and tertiary graduates interested in working in procurement and supply chain management positions.  

Our three types of IFPSM/NEVI Certificates are as follows:

1. IFPSM/NEVI Procurement Professional Certificate (5 days)
Suitable for people who either have no work experience (eg recent university graduates) or those who have limited experience in procurement.  The course covers:
- supply chain and logistics management
- expenditure and cost analysis
- data processing and market research
- procurement base
- procurement processes and tools, and
- preliminary business negotiations.

On completion of the training trainees can quickly adapt their skills into work practice in a procurement-related area.

Standard course fee: AU$3,000 per person.

2. IFPSM/NEVI Advanced Procurement Professional Certificate (5 days)

Suitable for people with three or more years of procurement work experience.  The course covers:
- Purchasing processes
- purchasing strategies
- financial analysis
- strategic cost management
- stakeholder management
- supplier relationship management
- high-level business negotiation and communication
- legal basis and contract management, and
- procurement leadership and decision making.

This program will enhance the professional competence of procurement professionals and to provide support for further career development, as well as to introduce industry leading experience and more forward-looking approach to practitioners.

Standard course fee: AU$5,000 per person.

 3. IFPSM/NEVI Negotiation Tactics Certificate (2 days)

This 2-day course is suitable for professionals in sales and marketing, procurement, HR management positions, and those who have not participated in negotiation training but have some experience in negotiation, with a focus on negotiation tactics and preparation. It introduces a three-dimensional framework that runs through the process of preparation of the entire negotiation process. So the trainees will learn practical tactics in gathering business intelligence, dealing with different personality, and use the power of influence during the negotiation process. Course covers:
- negotiation preparation
- negotiation theories
- negotiation process
- conflict handling styles
- win-win analysis
- listen and ask questions
- emotional management
- influence

This training builds a solid foundation which enables the trainees to continually improve their negotiation and influencing skills throughout their career. On completion of the course, the trainees will be equipped with a comprehensive set of negotiating tools which they can use according to different negotiating scenarios.
